Premium publishing, without the legacy stack.
We built Inkwell Shift so any publisher — from a one-person studio to a global team — can turn a PDF into a beautiful, embeddable, multilingual flipbook in minutes.
Our mission
For two decades, the tools for hosting interactive documents online have looked the same: a clunky uploader, a generic viewer, a hosted page that doesn’t match the rest of your brand. Publishers either accepted the mediocrity or paid an agency to build a one-off.
Inkwell Shift exists to make a third option the obvious one. Upload a PDF, get a premium flipbook with overlays, custom branding, offline export, and an embeddable viewer that respects RTL languages out of the box. No agency. No bespoke build. Just a better default.
We ship the platform on a strict diet of three rules: every feature must serve real publishers, every release must work in Arabic and English equally, and everything that can be self-serve should be. The roadmap below shows what that looks like in practice.
RTL-first, not an afterthought
Arabic and other RTL languages render correctly in the viewer, the dashboard, the embedded reader, the exports — everywhere.
One platform, three delivery modes
Hosted, embeddable, or offline desktop bundle. Same source PDF, three audiences, zero rebuilds.
Embeds that behave
Iframe-friendly viewer with per-book domain locking, signed asset URLs, and Content-Security-Policy that actually allows embedding where you want it.
Built like a product, not a side project
Audit logs, plan-aware quotas, webhook idempotency, structured data on every public page. The boring parts done right.
What’s coming next
A public, regularly-updated list of features in flight. Edited from our admin — there’s no hidden product roadmap document.
